Work rights · Migration pathways
Study in Australia
Generous in-study work rights, up to four years of post-study work, and transparent points-based migration pathways after graduation.
Australia offers the clearest line of sight from student visa to permanent residence of any major destination — the points system is published, testable, and largely predictable. For students whose plan extends past graduation, that transparency is worth a great deal.
The gate is the Genuine Student requirement, which replaced the older Genuine Temporary Entrant test. It asks you to explain, in writing and in detail, why this course, why Australia, and how it fits your career at home. Weak or template answers here are the dominant refusal cause for Pakistani applicants.
We treat the Genuine Student statement as the centre of an Australian application rather than an afterthought, and we build the rest of the file — course choice, financials, ties — so that nothing in it contradicts that statement.

What This Corridor Requires
The Gates You Must Clear.
Genuine Student (GS) Statement
A detailed written response covering your circumstances, your course choice, your understanding of the institution, and your post-study intentions. It is read closely and cross-checked against everything else in your file.
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
Issued after you accept an offer and pay the initial deposit. Your CoE dates drive your visa validity and your Overseas Student Health Cover period.
Overseas Student Health Cover
Mandatory health insurance for the full visa duration, paid upfront. Another cost students routinely omit from their budget model.
Financial Capacity Evidence
Funds covering tuition, AUD 29,710 in living costs, and travel — with a documented, plausible source. Loans are acceptable if properly evidenced.
Where Applications Fail
Common, Preventable Mistakes.
- Submitting a templated GS statement that could belong to any applicant.
- Course choice that contradicts your academic history without explanation.
- Ignoring regional-study incentives that add a year of post-study work rights.
- Underestimating OSHC and travel costs when proving financial capacity.
